The technical upgrade lies in the hybrid engines, yes, but also in the automatic gearboxes (whose performance could be improved), forming an indissoluble whole with common electronic management. The latest version of Renault's revolutionary multi-mode automatic transmission (no clutch, no synchros) combines the combustion and electric functions, providing 15% more torque. It has two gears connected to the main electric motor and four to the combustion engine, offering fifteen possible combinations and five fully automatic management modes
