Lancia brings back the mythical HF acronym with the electric Ypsilon
The self-locking device, a success
Another special feature of the Ypsilon HF is the Torsen self-locking system, which "pulls" the steering when accelerating at full throttle on corner exits. It should not be forgotten that the electric motor provides 345 Nm of torque. The electric motor transmits to the driver where the front wheels should be pointing when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, providing spectacular and progressive traction. While enjoying behind the wheel, the driver can choose three driving modes and use or not the "Brake" system to help in the retentions (quite useful in twisty paths).
