Audi RS5, the first plug-in hybrid in the RS series
Thanks to this system, the car achieves an electric range of up to 84 kilometers (and will, of course, have a 'Zero Emissions' label), which can reach 87 kilometers in urban environments, provided the driver sets aside the RS 5's aggressive nature and focuses on efficient driving. Charging is done via alternating current at a maximum of 11 kW, with Audi stating that a full charge takes approximately two and a half hours
This 400-volt system is powered by a 25.9 kWh gross (22 kWh net) battery located under the trunk floor, which not only powers the car but also drives an additional 8 kW motor that powers the Torque Vectoring system
