VW kicks off its strategic electric shift with the ID. 3 Neo
Fast charging has also been significantly improved, with power outputs of up to 183 kW in the top-of-the-line version (and 105 kW in the other two battery options), allowing for reduced charging times on long journeys. This is complemented by greater overall system efficiency, thanks to the new generation of electric motors, which replace the previous generation. The technological package is rounded out with new driver assistance features. Of particular note is Connected Travel Assist, which includes traffic light recognition and the ability to automatically stop the vehicle at a red light--a feature never before seen in this segment. One-pedal driving has also been introduced, allowing deceleration to be controlled solely with the accelerator, improving efficiency and simplifying driving in urban environments. Overall, the ID.3 Neo represents much more than a product evolution. It's proof that Volkswagen has learned from its mistakes and is prepared to correct them. Schäfer insists that "new models must once again inspire, connect with the customer, and convey the brand's traditional values in a completely new context"
