Ive's influence is clearly evident throughout the project. The Luce conveys a feeling closer to contemporary industrial design, or even the world of premium technology, than to the traditional automobile. Ferrari constantly speaks of "purity," "simplicity," and "formal clarity" when referring to its new vehicle. And indeed, the result is a kind of Ferrari reinterpreted from Silicon Valley. The enormous glass surface defines much of its silhouette. It's like a huge glass sculpture draped in an aluminum "suit." Ferrari calls this continuous, enveloping structure, which extends to the car's edges and virtually eliminates any visual interruption, "Glass House." Even the headlights are fully integrated into the bodywork and disappear when switched off. The result can be fascinating or disconcerting depending on the observer. And that's probably precisely Ferrari's intention. Because the Luce doesn't seem designed to win over the purists. At least not exclusively. This car seems aimed at a completely different customer, someone attracted to technological luxury, sophisticated design, extreme innovation and a more refined and quiet experience than a visceral one FERRARI
