Instant all-wheel drive
The adoption of a 100% electric powertrain barely diminishes off-road capabilities, an area where Range Rovers have always been a benchmark. Thus, ground clearance is slightly reduced, but it maintains a wading depth of 90 cm, and thanks to the two electric motors (one per axle), the all-wheel-drive response is lightning-fast, needing only 50 milliseconds (100 times less than an equivalent combustion engine model) to react to traction loss. Furthermore, when this occurs, the rear axle can transfer all the torque to the wheel with the most grip.
