Years ago, Volvo announced that it would go 100% electric in Europe by 2030. Just a couple of years ago--and in light of sales trends for this technology--it abandoned that goal in favor of a less ambitious, yet still significant, target: ensuring that all cars it sells by that date are electrified--meaning either fully electric or plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models.
