Habitability
As it features rear-wheel drive (except for the 4x4 version), the rear axle is a multi-link setup equipped with drum brakes alongside the energy regeneration system. The "one-pedal" function (with various adjustable settings) handles much of the braking, so disc brakes are fitted only at the front, paired with MacPherson struts. The result is an impressively good balance and smooth, progressive power delivery. The cabin is spacious and bright--especially if you opt for the transparent roof with zone-based dimming (Dynamic Shade Control)--and with five seats, cargo capacity reaches around 1,000 liters (measured to the roof). Beyond the "Relax" seats and the display screen (mounted vertically for the first time in a Skoda), the interior is understated yet comfortable--offering five eco-friendly upholstery options--and features many of the Czech brand's signature "Simply Clever" touches. A seven-seat version is also available.
