Jaguar reinvents itself with the Type 01, an electric car that looks straight out of a movie
Market targeting the US and Canada
Its name is highly conventional. It is called "Type" in homage to legendary models, starting with the iconic E-Type. The "0" signifies that it is 100% electric (with zero emissions), while the "1" denotes it as the first car of this new era. Orders will open in early 2027, with deliveries beginning in the second half of the year. According to the manufacturer's representatives, the majority of customers will be in the US and Canada--the markets where the Type 01 Concept (the prototype that previewed the vehicle) was best received.
