Fendi Spring-Summer 2025 fashion show: the transparency that never stops

Fendi. The Roman house is about to celebrate a century of life (it will do so in 2025) and is already working on the big events - a collection of perfumes inspired by the past, present and future members of the famiglia has already seen the light of day. Today's new member of the saga is Kim Jones, artistic director of ready-to-wear, who today has shown what we will be wearing in spring-summer 2025. And, both for the garments seen and for the spectacle sought, it seems that the British designer's work is a game of hide and show, a fashionable hide-and-seek. In fact, the catwalk was not linear, and its centre was occupied by a cube. Its function? Spectators could either see or not see the models, who appeared and disappeared around the sides of the cubicle. The collection followed the same lines, with transparencies as raison d'être, those that have been at the crest of the fashion wave for several seasons now and those same transparencies that are declined in delicate chiffon garments in their jewel version, dotted with appliqués and bouquets of bright flowers. The socks under the flat boots, contrasting with their mountaineering aesthetics, are back with the same rhinestone motifs, and once again transparency. Bold culottes were combined with long summer coats or short-sleeved jumpers reminiscent of Hitchcock's heroines in the 50's
