Loewe Spring/Summer 2026: Jack and Lázaro hit the mark (and succeed) with their debut at the Spanish brand

The transition has been successfully completed: Jack and Lázaro's first collection for Loewe rigorously embraces the Spanish house's heritage. The creativity of the American duo, founders of Proenza Schouler, unites the vitalist spirit championed by the brand in the last decade with an exploration of contemporary craftsmanship. The minidresses remain bulbous and rigid, drawn on the silhouette like sculptures. The palette for the Spring/Summer 2026 collection embraces primary colors and exalts them: red, blue, and yellow are layered on fitted jackets and asymmetrical dresses that create refined color blocks. In Ellsworth Kelly's work Yellow Panel with Red Curve (1989), the creative directors found "a vitality and tactile quality that are fundamental, as well as a chromatic intensity and sensuality that seem inherent to its Spanish roots." They put this into practice with a sporting spirit. Parkas, anoraks, shorts, raincoats, and frayed five-pocket jeans follow in the footsteps of leather constructions that redesign the body's curves. In its changing era, the brand's 180th anniversary boasts a youthful spirit
