When the offer is complete, the new Compass can be ordered with mechanicals covering 90% of demand: 145 hp light hybrid, 195 hp plug-in hybrid with about 85 km 'zero emissions' and three all-electric options. These offer 213 hp and front-wheel drive, with two battery sizes (74 and 97 kWh), and the top of the range, which delivers 375 hp, has the largest battery and a second rear electric motor designed for off-road use and which means all-wheel drive. Because, as Fabio Catone, head of Jeep in Europe, assured us, "100% electric technology is, due to its properties, the most suitable for 4x4 use, and we will not find a gas station at the end of a mountain".
