The foundation remains the familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine manufactured by Mercedes-Benz's AMG division, but it now delivers 700 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and a staggering 800 Nm of maximum torque between 2,750 and 6,000 rpm. This represents a 20 hp increase over the standard DB12, though the difference isn't solely about raw power.
