Loarre (Huesca)

Considered one of the best-preserved Romanesque fortresses in Europe, Loarre Castle is the setting that captivated Ridley Scott. It was 2005 when he brought together Orlando Bloom, Eva Green, Jeremy Irons, and Liam Neeson at this site in Huesca to film *Kingdom of Heaven*, a movie set during the Crusades. Incidentally, do you remember the series *El Ministerio del Tiempo*? It also utilized Loarre's dungeons as a backdrop for some of its storylines. Yet beyond its imposing walls, the pre-Pyrenean landscape unfolding before the traveler is equally cinematic. In fact, the "Huesca: The Magic of Cinema" route offers a chance to discover some of the locations that have turned this province into a genuine natural film set. MUNICIPALITIES
