A mother's pride is hard to describe when one of her children has achieved one of their dreams. A pride felt by Valeria Mazza (53), witnessing the achievement of Tiziano (almost 24 years old), the second of the four children she has with her husband Alejandro Gravier, as he is part of the Argentinian ski team at the Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina d'Ampezzo.
The model has confessed to ¡Hola! that these are "unique moments" and the best part is "the excitement and happiness of being able to see an Olympic child and share it with the family."
Alongside her is her husband, Alejandro Gravier, and their two younger children, Benicio (20), who also skis, and Taína (17), who enjoys artistic disciplines. The eldest son, Balthazar (26), could not join them because of his work commitments as an industrial engineer.
The love story of Valeria and Alejandro dates back more than 35 years, when the businessman met the model at just 18 years old. In the documentary Valeria Mazza, a golden dream, the businessman admitted that he felt "like I had found the woman I had always dreamed of. She had a lot of personality. She told me she had been offered a job in Milan and was going to go. She showed a personality and an objective."
Valeria, in a calm tone and amidst laughter, expressed that "God put him in my path because it was very difficult for someone to accompany me in everything I was going to experience later on."
The couple got married in 1998. First in a civil ceremony at the Bella Vista Golf Club (Buenos Aires) and later, on May 9, 1998, they said "I do" at the Church of the Santísimo Sacramento in Retiro, in the Argentine capital. The event was so anticipated that, according to reports, it was experienced as if it were a royal event, reaching an 80% television audience.
Besides their residence in Buenos Aires, the family has an impressive estate in Punta del Este (Uruguay), one of the most exclusive areas in the southern cone where Villa Valeria is located.
