With an average price for round trips of 68 euros, Milan becomes the cheapest city to fly to during 2026. It is followed by Bilbao (the only Spanish city in the top ten), Lisbon, London, and Rome, with an approximate cost of 72, 86, 94, and 108 euros respectively.
These are some of the findings from the latest report on the cost of tickets to travel around Europe from Spain, compiled by Skyscanner, the leading digital travel application. The maximum limit for the selected round-trip flights should not exceed 250 euros, one of the analysis conditions.
Other destinations would include Krakow, Bucharest, Budapest, Istanbul, and Rovaniemi, the charming Finnish town where Santa's home is located, with flights reaching 240 euros, being the most expensive in the ranking. This ranking was done in collaboration with the market research company OnePoll in December through a survey of over 1,000 people and a search through thousands of routes and millions of bookings on the portal.

The report also points out that, although 75% of travelers from our country plan to take a trip abroad in 2026, only half have booked their flights, as more than half are still deciding on the destination and almost a quarter are still looking for the best deals.
For those still searching, they should know that the best day of the week to buy tickets, despite popular belief, is Friday. Only 2% of respondents thought this was the best time, while 32% opted for Tuesday, although the choice varies depending on the route and the month.
