Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown calls for an investigation into Prince Andrew's role as a trade ambassador

Updated

Far from the storm calming down, the day-to-day life of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (66) continues to bring unexpected events that undermine his image as the favorite son of Queen Elizabeth II

The latest to provide explosive information is Gordon Brown (75), former British Prime Minister from 2007 to 2010, who sent five-page letters to the police forces of London, Sussex, Thames Valley, Surrey, Bedfordshire, and Norfolk. In them, he recommends questioning several officials from the Ministry of Defense, the Foreign Office, the Department of Transport, and the Treasury.

The reason is clear. As reported by The Telegraph, the request is to find out how Prince Charles's brother used his position as the UK's trade envoy from 2001 to 2011.

These dates are significant because Andrew was aware of Epstein's legal troubles as in June 2008 he was sentenced to 18 months in prison for a state charge of child prostitution.

Apparently, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may have used Royal Air Force (RAF) bases with taxpayers' money to benefit from his connection with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. And, therefore, as reported by The Telegraph, he may have leaked confidential travel information in a "completely unacceptable" use of public funds.

There is a particular piece of information that seems to concern the Labour politician and was previously exclusively reported by The Telegraph in March 2011. It is about the permission Epstein obtained to land his private Gulfstream aircraft at an RAF fighter base in Marham, in Norfolk County, on December 7, 2000.

According to flight records, inside the aircraft were the pedophile, his right-hand woman Ghislaine Maxwell (64) and Andrew's close friend Tom Pritzker - a close associate of the American millionaire - a woman named Kelly Spamm, and another one who could be a British assistant to Maxwell. Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years for providing minors to the pedophile.

After landing, they all headed to the Queen's property in Sandringham as Andrew's guests until December 9, when they left England. The declassified documents by the US Department of Justice in the Epstein case increasingly corner Sarah Ferguson's ex-husband (66), who is also linked to the pedophile.

According to the aforementioned British newspaper, a flight record from April 1998 reads "met Sarah Ferguson and the girls (Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie) on the ground" in Nassau (Bahamas).

In another record, it was revealed that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor traveled in May 2000 with Epstein on his private jet along with several people, including the elitist designer Alfredo Pinto.

Following the uproar caused by Gordon Brown's request, last Monday the BBC had access to a former Department of Trade official who revealed Andrew's early 2000 request for massage services expenses to be covered. "I thought that was wrong... I said we shouldn't pay them, but in the end, we paid them anyway," claimed this source.

This former official also highlighted the high expenses that the former Duke used to have for himself and his entourage, which often was unknown. On Thursday, February 19, just the same day Andrew turned 66, he became the first high-ranking Windsor member to be arrested.

For 11 hours, the new black sheep of the royal family testified at the Norfolk police station for alleged misconduct during his tenure as the UK's trade envoy.

This past weekend, two of Queen Elizabeth II's son's bodyguards were photographed buying supplies, including beer crates, while Andrew remained holed up in his temporary residence, Wood Farm, awaiting the completion of Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate.
