Flights to national destinations for less than 145 euros and to international ones for less than 180 euros. These are some last-minute finds that you can still come across for travelling during this Easter holiday. The ranking of getaways with good value for money is led by the Balearic Islands and Barcelona. In fact, you can spend these days in Ibiza for 68 euros round trip from different national airports. The price goes up to 98 euros if the chosen destination is Barcelona and 99 euros if it's Palma de Mallorca.

These are some of the conclusions of the study conducted by the travel search engine Kayak, which has reviewed the places where travelling is cheapest these days. From getaways to Spanish islands to European capitals, travellers can find round-trip flights in economy class for less than 200 euros both within and outside Spain.

The aforementioned Balearic Islands and Barcelona along with mainland cities like Madrid and Valencia (106 euros round-trip flights from other points in Spain) or Bilbao (111 euros) are the stars in this year's national ranking, reflecting a wide variety of affordable options. They are followed by Alicante, Seville, Malaga, and Mahón in Menorca.

Whether it's a getaway to a nearby island or an urban trip to a European capital, price alerts can help keep track of prices and book at the right time."

For those who prefer crossing our border, Italy and Portugal are the countries offering the best value for money. Milan (average of 128 euros) and Venice (average of 163 euros) in the former, are the most attractive to travellers who don't want to overspend these days, while the Portuguese cities of Porto (average of 128 euros) and Lisbon (average of 146 euros) stand out as affordable urban getaways in our neighbouring country.

In Poland, for example, Krakow (average of 205 euros) stands out as a cultural reference at affordable prices, while one of the Scandinavian capitals, Copenhagen (average of 204 euros), consolidates as a noteworthy urban proposal. Above 200 euros, Edinburgh (average of 209 euros) positions itself as the most appealing destination for Spaniards this Easter.
