Andorran justice has opened an investigation for smuggling related to the sale of high-end watches to First Division football players. According to EL MUNDO, the inquiries are targeting a company in the Principality called Best In Asociados, which was involved in the marketing of top brand watches without paying the required taxes. Andorran authorities have determined that the activity was illegal, and the investigation is ongoing.

The buying and selling operations took place in Madrid and other cities in Spain. Among the clients of this company, who purchased the watches at a significant discount, were, among others, as confirmed by sources close to the investigation to this newspaper, Sevilla player César Azpilicueta, Real Oviedo footballer Santi Cazorla, Dani Carvajal from Real Madrid, and former player David Silva.

In recent weeks, the Civil Guard has been requesting information from the clients of Best In Asociados as part of a rogatory commission. It is expected that Andorra will soon begin taking statements from all those involved to clarify the facts.
