Renowned British presenter Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer during an episode of the TV series Clarkson's Farm, aired this Wednesday, as reported by the BBC.
During an emotional scene on the show, 66-year-old Clarkson informs his usual program partners, Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland, who react with evident concern to the news. Although it has not been specified when the footage was recorded, the season was filmed between 2024 and 2025.
The former host of Top Gear did not specify the exact type of cancer he has, but explained that it is an "aggressive" disease detected at a very early stage. As part of the treatment, he mentioned that a part of his prostate was removed.
"I disappeared last week, had a biopsy, and it turned out to be cancer. It's aggressive, but it's at a very early stage," Clarkson stated during the episode. The presenter added that he had known about the diagnosis since May.
Despite the seriousness of the situation, Clarkson wanted to reassure his colleagues. "I promise you I'll be fine," he told the two men, and added that he would be off-duty "for a while," as reported by the British media.
Hours before the premiere of the last two episodes of the season, the host posted a video on his Instagram account warning his followers that the episodes would be "difficult to watch."
Jeremy Clarkson's health has been a recurring topic in the fifth season of Clarkson's Farm. The show had already addressed the heart problems the presenter experienced in October 2024.
