The Civil Guard is investigating the discovery of the bodies of an Irish couple aged 50 and 45 in the Valencian town of Cullera, found on Tuesday afternoon by their two teenage children aged 16 and 14, as reported to EFE by sources from the Civil Guard.
The bodies, as reported by the newspaper Las Provincias, were found naked next to the jacuzzi in one of the villas in the Cap Blanc urbanization, and the investigation does not rule out that they were accidental deaths, although it is being carried out by the Homicide Group of the Civil Guard Command in Valencia.
The minors were attended to by the Red Cross psychological services and taken to a hotel awaiting the arrival of a relative who will take care of them in Valencia. None of them speak Spanish.
The Civil Guard conducted a thorough examination of the rented property to gather evidence that may determine whether the deaths were accidental, due to negligence, or if there are indications of criminality.
