Since their return to England at the end of August after six years living in sunny California, Prince Harry (42) and Meghan Markle (45) have become the most pursued figures in the UK by the paparazzi. But not only them, their children, Prince Archie (7) and Princess Lilibet (5), are also being watched around their school, whose name has not been disclosed.

For this reason, a spokesperson for the Sussexes has denounced the security incident as "extraordinarily reckless," as they "seem reluctant to respect the privacy of the children at school." A source told ABC News that they saw two men with backpacks observing the school grounds before returning to a white van.

"There is a big difference between legitimate media activity and photographers roaming the perimeter of a school, stopping to observe the grounds, and watching the children while they go about their daily activities," expressed through a statement echoed by Page Six.

Several days ago, Lady Di's son revealed to CTV that the past few weeks have been "hectic," but that "the children are happy at school, and it has been fantastic to be back on British soil." However, there was a serious setback initially, which led them to enroll the children in another school due to security issues.

The family's arrival in London on August 26 surprised many people who began to wonder what would happen next regarding the Sussexes' connection with the palace. To avoid doubts and confusion, on September 7, King Charles III (77) sent a letter to senior government officials stipulating that Harry and Meghan will remain non-active members of the royal family and that any charitable work they undertake will be done privately, and decisions regarding security will be the responsibility of the relevant police authorities.

What has caught the most attention is that since their move, Harry has not yet met with his father, according to Hello! magazine, and there is no indication of when that meeting will take place. The last time they saw each other in person was in July. The monarch has spent much of September resting in Scotland, but they have spoken on the phone several times.

Since their relocation, Meghan has had virtually no social presence, as the first time she was seen in public was on September 21 at the Three Horseshoes pub in the small village of Asthall, in Oxfordshire, in the Cotswolds region, where rumors have circulated that the Sussexes live in a period mansion near other well-known faces like the Beckhams.

During the actress's visit to the pub, she was accompanied by her friends Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, who declined to comment on their emotional bond. Prince Harry could not join them as he was attending the WellChild awards in London.

At the event, the son of Charles III told Hello! magazine that they are most enjoying "going for walks. Lots of walks. Isn't that the most British thing ever?" He also mentioned that their children love marmite on crumpets, a classic British breakfast or snack consisting of a toasted fluffy bun (crumpet) spread with a salty yeast extract paste (Marmite).

On her personal Instagram account, the duchess has given some clues in various video montages of how their life in England is unfolding. The couple is seen taking a hand-in-hand walk along a path, their children enjoying themselves in front of a wood-burning fireplace, splashing in muddy water with wellies, and Princess Lilibet enjoying a bike ride with her doll seated at the back while her brother runs alongside. Another heartwarming image shows the family dog playing near a lake while Harry and the children are in a small boat fishing.

The duchess's latest post dates back to September 15 when she shared a black and white image of her husband to wish him a happy anniversary. "He is simply the best. Happy birthday, my love," she wrote.

Through her friend's Instagram, Kelly McKee Zajfen, it was also revealed that she had spent a mini holiday in the English countryside with her family.

The first public appearance of Queen Elizabeth II's grandson took place on September 17 during the inaugural ceremony in London of the Invictus Spirit awards of his Invictus Games foundation at the Old Royal Naval College in the capital. The prince mentioned to People magazine that "it's good to be back on British soil."
