The latest images of David Hasselhoff (72) have alerted his followers about his fragile health condition. As exclusively reported by the Daily Mail, it is observed how an employee from the airports of Cancun and another from Los Angeles push the wheelchair in which the star of Knight Rider is sitting. Upon his arrival in the United States, it can be seen how when getting up from the wheelchair, he strongly leans on his third wife, Hayley Roberts (45), whom he married in 2018.

The actor tried to put on a brave face, smiled and made thumbs-up gestures, but the press colleagues concluded that the lifestyle Hasselhoff has led is taking its toll. In fact, a close source to the news star revealed to the British tabloid, "David is living on borrowed time and has had a tough life." And adds: "He has had a life that people can only dream of, but he has also spent decades with alcohol and other substances, actions of which he now regrets."

However, Hasselhoff downplayed the situation by confessing to the photographers that he is in this condition because next week he has to be operated on his knee. This has been the first appearance of the singer since his second wife, Pamela Bach, passed away in early March. From this marriage, his two daughters, Taylor Ann (35) and Hayley (33), were born.

This is not the first time David has undergone surgery, as six years ago he had to have a defibrillator implanted to prevent a heart attack on medical advice, as he had been eating poorly for a long time and his work pace had caused him countless stress and anxiety crises. Another close source to the TV star commented at the time that "his years of alcoholism must have taken a toll on him."

One of the most critical and disastrous moments due to alcohol happened in 2007 when Hasselhoff, divorced from Pamela for a year, was so drunk that he was trying to eat a burger while lying on the floor. His eldest daughter recorded him on video advising him that he needed help and to stop drinking that night because the next day they would come to test him, and if he tested positive, he would be fired from his show in Las Vegas. "This is a disaster," "I feel lonely," he confessed slurring his words to Taylor Ann. Two years later, his daughter found him unconscious at home.

David and Pamela's divorce ended with shared custody, but the Baywatch star temporarily lost his rights after the video recorded by his daughter came to light. According to some journalists, up to 2009 David Hasselhoff had been hospitalized up to seven times due to his alcohol-related issues.

Another issue that added to the addiction was the actor's lack of work which prevented him from paying the divorce settlement that a judge set at $21,000 in alimony for Pamela and an additional $4,000 for his daughters. Therefore, he requested a reduction to $10,000, and in 2017 he asked for another decrease to $5,000. At that time, several media outlets, including Vogue, claimed that despite earning millions, he only had $4,000 in the bank and that the total value of his properties amounted to almost $1.8 million. However, his ex-wife called him a liar by estimating his fortune at $120 million.
