It is often said that when the devil has nothing to do, he scares flies with his tail, and there is some truth to that in the figure of Brooklyn Beckham (26). Lately, David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son has been working as an influencer and is under scrutiny for allegedly causing a rift in the family.
The young man and his wife, actress and heiress Nicola Peltz (30), are back in the news for taking a big step in their marriage. Until now, the couple had been living in rental properties, and finally, they have decided to purchase a mansion in one of the most exclusive areas of Los Angeles.
According to The Sun and Daily Mirror, the couple has spent nearly 13 million euros on a property that includes 6 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, a state-of-the-art private cinema, a gym, a chef's kitchen, and a huge garden with a standout infinity pool.
The purchase coincides with the ongoing family dispute that has been going on since David started celebrating his 50th birthday in Miami. Subsequently, as his birthday approached, celebrations were held in London, the Cotswolds, Paris, and Bordeaux. The Beckham-Peltz couple did not attend any of them, and there was no trace of them on social media. The former player was deeply affected by this reaction.
Both David and Victoria have been trying to mend fences, but reconciliation seems impossible. Once again, the strained relationship was reflected on Father's Day with Brooklyn's absence from the celebrations.
On his Instagram account, David posted, "My most important and favorite job in life is being a dad. I am so proud of all of you, and as a dad (sorry guys) I tell you every day that I will always be here for you, not matter what happens. I love you kids more than you can imagine." He also dedicated a special message to Brooklyn: "I love you (accompanied by a heart)."
Throughout this time, various rumors and gossip have put Nicola in the spotlight because she reportedly got very upset and was seen crying before the first dance at their wedding on April 9, 2022.
Marc Anthony was one of the guests who had gifted the couple the song "You Sang to Me," but when he took the microphone, he thought it would be a good idea to say, "Let the most beautiful woman of the night come up on stage... Victoria Beckham." That was a big blow. Additionally, Nicola did not allow her mother-in-law to design her wedding dress and opted for Valentino.
Over time, news emerged that Brooklyn did not approve of his brother Romeo (22) dating Kim Turnbull (25), with whom they reportedly had a special connection when they were teenagers. It was said they were just friends, but the scandal continued. In early June, Romeo and Kim broke up.
As the issue continues to be in the spotlight and hurtful information is being spread, Kim has decided to release a statement in which she assures, "I avoided talking about this to avoid adding fuel to the fire, however, there comes a point where I feel the need to address it to move forward. I will not continue to endure harassment or feel ashamed based on lies to fit a certain narrative." And she concluded, "I have never been romantically involved with the person in question (Brooklyn)."
With the significant step taken by Brooklyn and Nicola, it seems unlikely that the couple will spend long periods in England and Florida, where their parents have multimillion-dollar properties where they reside throughout the year.
