Despite not releasing an album for five years, Adele (37) continues to earn millions into her bank account. In 2024 alone, the British singer added 9.2 million euros to her estimated 252 million fortune. Without hits like "Someone like you" that propelled her to fame, Adele cashed in in Las Vegas, where she was paid, as reported by the Daily Mail, over a million euros for each performance at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

She rose to fame thanks to a friend who secretly uploaded several demos to the MySpace platform, where a talent scout was captivated by her voice. Richard Russell wasted no time in signing her to the XL Recordings label.

From that moment on, a series of strategic moves propelled her to become, according to experts, the best voice of the 21st century. She achieved this with just four albums, 19 (2008), 21 (2011), 25 (2015), and 30 (2021), powerful enough to move millions of people around the world.

Adele has become a millionaire. Not bad for someone who grew up in humble neighborhoods of London where she exorcised certain ghosts of the past through music, like her father's abandonment when she was two years old.

Rich Paul, Adele's new boyfriend: from street vendor to surviving to becoming a millionaire sports agent

Stress and lack of time to enjoy her private life led her to make a drastic decision. In early September 2024, Adele announced at her last concert in Munich that she was taking an indefinite break. "You won't see me for a very long time. I've spent the last seven years building a new life for myself; now, I want to live it," she announced to applause, cheers, and some disappointment.

She performed a series of concerts in the German city where 730,000 people attended a temporary stadium built to her specifications, called the Adele Arena or Adele Stadium. She earned 50 million dollars and had an economic impact in the area of 500 million dollars.

It was during one of these shows that the British artist implicitly admitted to having a solid relationship with sports agent Rich Paul (45) following a fan's marriage proposal with a banner. From the stage, she replied: "I can't marry you because I'm already going to get married and I can't, but I appreciate it. Thank you!"

After a year of relationship, and to strengthen it, the couple bought Sylvester Stallone's mansion in the gated community of North Beverly Park in Los Angeles in 2022 for just over 50 million dollars, a bargain considering that the 1,700-square-meter property was originally listed for 93.5 million euros. Among their neighbors are Denzel Washington and Justin and Hailey Bieber.

Adele and Rich want to get married and start a family. That's why the singer has decided to take a break from work, in addition to wanting more free time for her 13-year-old son Angelo, from her relationship with former philanthropist and broker Simon Konecki (51). Meanwhile, Rich Paul has three other children, Reonna, Rich Jr., and Zane.

The English singer is not eager to return to music because her finances are more than secure.

According to reports in various international media outlets such as The Sun, The Mirror, and Daily Mail, Adele performed intermittently with 100 concerts from November 2022 to November 2024 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas with the Weekends with Adele shows. With this residency, she pocketed 100 million pounds (almost 115 million euros), meaning 1.15 million euros per night. It's worth noting that each spectator spent an average of nearly 1,500 euros.

Image rights, royalties, and various investments, mainly in real estate, are managed by the artist through three companies, Melted Stone, Melted Stone Editorial, and Adkins Touring. Her profits are substantial because she remains the best-selling singer of the 21st century in the UK and the best-selling of the 2010s globally.

Unimaginable figures for that teenager who was captivated by Gabrielle and enamored with the voices of Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James. Today, she admires other greats like Barbra Streisand and Beyoncé.

In 2019, there was a 180-degree change for this music goddess. Her divorce from Simon Konecki caused anxiety attacks and she sought refuge in sports to heal mentally. In two years, she lost 45 kilos. "I never tried to lose weight, but I tried to be stronger and focus on myself without being glued to the phone. I became addicted to all of that," she admitted to Vogue.

She also confessed to the magazine that that period was very tough because "the worst criticisms about my body came from women. It was very disappointing and hurt me a lot." With this new year beginning, Adele savors such personal balance that her fans claim will be reflected in her next album. When? Who knows!

A calm and stable relationship

Adele and sports agent Rich Paul met on the dance floor at a mutual friend's birthday party in 2019. They were friends for a while until they made their first public appearance as a couple in July 2021 during an NBA game. Two months later, she confirmed it on social media. The singer has already expressed her desire to become a mother again with her partner.
