His daughter, Victoria, has been found dead at the age of 34 in the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, which became tremendously popular in the 80s thanks to the series Hotel, starring James Brolin and Connie Selecca. The cause of death is currently unknown.
Victoria was the younger of the two children that the star of The Fugitive (1993) had with his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley, daughter of Phil Hardberger, a lawyer and former mayor of San Antonio (Texas). The young woman tried to pursue a career as an actress, appearing as a teenager in Men in Black II (2002), The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, and also had a role in the series One Tree Hill.
However, her career never really took off, as she lacked the strict discipline that great actors like her father adhere to. In fact, Tommy Lee Jones has confessed on some occasions that he struggled to wake up at five in the morning to go to film shoots.
Victoria was completely bilingual in Spanish, as the Oscar winner required his nanny to speak to her in that language at all times.
Her older brother is named Austin Leonard (43), who has also pursued acting and music composition. He briefly appeared alongside his father in The Homesman (2014) where he also worked as a music supervisor and was a composer in the film Metamorphosis.
Additionally, he has released several albums as a solo artist showcasing his talent as a country singer. It is unknown if any of his children have made him a grandfather.
Tommy Lee Jones has been married three times. The first to actress Kate Lardner (1971-1978), niece of the screenwriter and journalist Ring Lardner Jr., a leftist who refused to testify during McCarthyism and helped raise funds for the Republican side during the Spanish Civil War.
He was married to Kimberlea from 1981 to 1996 and with the latest, the photographer Dawn Laurel, since 2001.
