It seems that the legal battle between Ilia Topuria (28) and his ex-wife, Giorgina Uzcategui (30), has come to an end. After signing an extrajudicial agreement, the Venezuelan businesswoman has withdrawn the complaint for mistreatment she filed against the UFC fighter on November 18, a few days after he filed for divorce.

For months, they had been discussing the terms of the divorce, which the fighter described as "extortion" and her circle referred to as "a normal negotiation in the midst of the separation process" in conversation with this supplement. Now, as reported by the newspaper Marca, they have reached an agreement, meeting the terms initially requested by the Spanish-Georgian.

This agreement comes with another announcement. "The champion is back," the athlete wrote on his social media. This way, he announces his return to the rings after his retirement last November due to a "difficult time."

LOC has learned that the mother will remain in Spain and will have custody of their two-year-old daughter. To allow Ilia to see the child, they have agreed on a visitation schedule that will be adapted to the athlete's travel schedule, as his return to the rings will involve constant trips around the world.

In the divorce petition, whose details were exclusively published by this supplement, Topuria requested shared custody of the child and to return to the rented residence in Boadilla del Monte for ¤16,000 per month. Despite some reports claiming the athlete was selling this house, it was not true. Not only because the house belongs to a landlord to whom he pays monthly rent, but also because it was never his intention to leave the property, as it has a perfectly equipped gym for his training.

In the divorce petition filed by Ilia Topuria against Giorgina Uzcategui on November 11, his legal team emphasized the importance of the current UFC lightweight champion returning to his home to train in his gym because "he cannot train in a public gym in front of everyone and in view of his competitors."
