A piece of Hollywood history will be up for sale on March 10 and 11 at Julien's Auctions, one of the world's most important auction houses linked to the artistic world. This time, it's Whoopi Goldberg (70) who wants to part with over 500 personal items for a charitable cause.

The winner of an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for Ghost (1991), will donate a percentage of the proceeds to DonorsChoose, an NGO that helps public school teachers finance various projects in the classroom, and another part will go to One Simple Wish, which helps people affected by the foster care system.

Goldberg states that this is "more than seven decades of a well-lived life" and over 40 years of a fabulous career, and that it's "time to part with some of the many treasures that fill more storage units than one person should have."

The most expensive item is her private Prevost LeMirage Tour bus that she traveled across the United States from 1998 to 2024 for professional reasons. It features several bunks, a master bedroom, dining area, kitchen, and two bathrooms. It also served as her hotel. The estimated value is between $150,000 and $250,000.

Among jewelry and art pieces are two Tiffany Studios candelabras from around 1900 with an estimated value between $15,000 and $25,000 and an original drawing by Keith Haring done with black marker on brown paper with an estimated price of $6,000 to $8,000.

Additionally, movie lovers can acquire the blazer worn inSister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993) or a vintage coat worn in Corrina, Corrina (1994).

Unfortunately, among the auctioned pieces, some of her most prestigious awards are not included, which have made her one of the few artists to achieve EGOT (Emmy, Golden Globe, Oscar, and Tony).

Married three times (Alvin Martin, David Claessen, and Lyle Trachtenberg) and with two long-term relationships (David Schein and Frank Langella), the actress has only one daughter, Alexandrea Martin (51), who has made her a grandmother three times and a great-grandmother to two grandchildren.

Currently, she is one of the most critical co-hosts on The View, ABC's leading show, and the highest-paid, earning eight million dollars annually.
