American actor Corey Parker, known for his appearances in the series Will & Grace and the movie Friday the 13th: A New Beginning, passed away on March 5 at the age of 60 in Memphis, Tennessee, after a battle with cancer, as confirmed by family members.

The news was announced by his aunt, Emily Parker, who explained that the actor passed away after being diagnosed with cancer, although the specific type of the disease was not initially disclosed.

Born on July 8, 1965 in New York, Parker began acting as a child and trained at institutions such as the Actors Studio and the High School of Performing Arts in the city. Throughout his career, he participated in numerous film and television productions since the 1980s.

Among his most well-known works is his role as Josh - one of Grace's boyfriends in several episodes of Will & Grace, as well as his participation in films like Biloxi Blues, White Palace, and How I Got Into College.
