Thylane Blondeau had her life changed while walking with her mother through the streets of Paris: Jean-Paul Gaultier (73) discovered her at just 3 years old to star in an event. At 10 years old, she became the youngest model to appear on the cover of Vogue France.
Those sky-blue eyes, her angelic face, and her long brown hair were the passport for her to still be remembered today as "the most beautiful girl in the world."
That girl has grown up, and at 24 years old, she has announced one of the most important steps in her life. After just over five years of relationship, Thylane is marrying Ben Attal (28), the French DJ and actor who is the grandson of two of France's most legendary artistic figures, Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg.
The model, daughter of presenter Véronika Loubry (57) and former footballer Patrick Blondeau (58), has said "yes" to the son of actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg (54) and actor-director Yvan Attal (61) during their recent trip to Greece where they stayed at one of the best hotels overlooking the Aegean Sea.
"I said 'yes' to my best friend. For eternity," Thylane wrote on her Instagram captioning a series of photos showing a close-up of the ring, the happy couple kissing and shouting with joy, and their dog surrounded by rose petals...
The news comes at a special time for her mother Véronika, as on December 11th, her husband, Gérard Kadoche (she separated from Blondeau in 2016), passed away due to pancreatic cancer. The mourning continues in the family, as the producer was a greatly beloved person.
As expected, Véronika publicly congratulated the couple on social media: "Life has made me go through storms lately, but today, seeing you commit to the best of stepsons, I feel as if finally a little ray of sunshine is breaking through the clouds (...) Gégé must be very proud of you."
Thylane remains a beloved figure in French society. After her return from Greece, she attended as a guest at some of the fashion shows of Paris Fashion Week. Recently, the young woman decided to take a step further in her professional career by launching Enalyht, her own hair care brand, and Heaven May, her clothing brand.
As for Ben, one of the most famous nepo babies in his country, he has mainly worked alongside his parents. In fact, he acted in My Wife is an Actress (2001), which marked the directorial debut of his father Yvan and also starred Charlotte. Other notable films include They Are Everywhere (2016) and The Accused (2021).
