Considered the king of cashmere, the designer Brunello Cucinelli has transcended the workshops of the luxury world with the documentary dedicated to him by Giuseppe Tornatore. The Oscar-winning director has presented in New YorkBrunello: The Gracious Visionary, where he tells the story of going from being the son of a humble farmer to owning at 72 years old a fortune of 3.8 billion dollars thanks to his eponymous brand.
During the premiere at the David Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center in New York, a good group of familiar faces gathered, among whom Naomi Watts (57), Oscar Isaac (47), Helena Christensen (57), Martha Stewart (84), and the couple of the night, Katie Holmes (47) and Joshua Jackson (47) stood out.
The sensation was there, as in the past both actors had a brief romance. While filming Dawson's Creek, the quintessential teenage series of the 90s, Holmes and Jackson dated during the first season from 1998 to 1999.
When they broke up, they did it in such a friendly way that they have continued to maintain a very good relationship, every time they have been asked, they have spoken very highly of each other.
The actors posed very elegantly, smiling and well-coordinated. As expected, they wore exclusive designs by Cucinelli. Katie looked stunning in a floor-length gunmetal embroidered skirt paired with a crisp white off-the-shoulder shirt that revealed one bra strap.
Joshua looked very elegant in a burgundy velvet evening jacket, white shirt, slate gray pants, bow tie, and matching black shoes.
In the past year, both actors have reunited for two very different reasons. Katie directed and starred alongside Joshua in the romantic trilogy Happy Hours, where their characters fall in love. In September 2025, much of the Dawson's Creek cast reunited to raise funds for the non-profit organization Fuck Cancer.
They did it because their friend and colleague James Van Der Beek was battling colon cancer, which he ultimately couldn't overcome. He passed away on February 11 at the age of 48.
