Cameron Diaz has become a mother for the third time at 53. Her husband, the singer and guitarist Benji Madden, 47, publicly announced the news on his Instagram profile. "Cameron and I are happy, excited, and deeply grateful to announce the birth of our third child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world, son! We love family life: our children are healthy and happy, and we feel very grateful. We are enjoying it so much! We send you our best wishes," wrote the producer under a letter with the different meanings of his name ("Sailor", "navigator", "traveler").

Their home has continued to grow in recent years. Married since 2015 in an intimate ceremony, they are parents to Raddix -born in 2019- and Cardinal -born in 2024-, now welcoming a new baby in a particularly sweet stage for the actress, marked by balance between her role as a mother and her return to filming.

In recent years, the The Holiday actress has openly discussed her experience as a mother at an older age. She did so, for example, on Naomi Campbell's YouTube channel, No Filter. "Many people do it the other way around... they get married and start a family in their youth," she said. "I, on the other hand, am doing it in the second half of my life." She talked about her fears: "The only pressure I have now is that I have to live until I'm 107, no pressure!"

In another interview, she admitted that watching her child grow up was "wonderful and terrifying."

This stage, years after those words, is sweet for Cameron Diaz. After nearly a decade away from the spotlight, she has returned to the cinema with new projects. Among her upcoming works are movies alongside Keanu Reeves, as well as new filmings and the anticipated return of her iconic character in the Shrek franchise, where she will once again voice Fiona.
