In the early 2000s, Heidi Klum (52) had become the perfect successor to Claudia Schiffer (55) as a German top model. In fact, she achieved something that the latter could not, becoming one of the Victoria's Secret Angels. This allowed her to reach the peak of fame and enter a circle where only the chosen few move.

After divorcing her first husband, stylist Ric Pipino, she fell for the charms of Italian tycoon Flavio Briatore (76), who completely disowned her when she told him she was pregnant with their daughter Leni (22), who has carried the last name of singer Seal (63), Heidi's second husband, since she was a baby. With Seal, she had three more biological children, Henry (20) - her heir on the runways - Johan (19), and Lou (16).

After several unsuccessful relationships, including with Vito Schnabel (39) - actor, art dealer, and son of painter and filmmaker Julian Schnabel (74) - Heidi Klum made her relationship with Tom Kaulitz (36), pianist and drummer of the German pop-rock band Tokio Hotel, public. They have been married since 2019.

Interestingly, their second ceremony took place on the deck of the yacht Christina O, the luxurious boat that Aristotle Onassis bought in 1954 to show off to his eternal rival, Stavros Niarchos, and where he sailed his romance with Maria Callas when they were both married to Athina Livanos and Giovanni Battista Meneghini, respectively.

It is precisely Tom Kaulitz who has been a significant support for Heidi Klum, who confessed openly and without prejudice a few weeks ago that she is going through menopause. Far from hiding this female biological process, the America's Got Talent judge has not hesitated to showcase some red carpet looks that reflect her physical transformation. She doesn't mind showing a few extra pounds despite receiving some negative criticism about her figure. Heidi wants this topic to stop being taboo for women and, therefore, she talks about it openly.

In the documentary "On & Off the Catwalk," released on February 22, the top model explained, "Many say I am too fat, too thin, or pregnant, but I am not pregnant. I am just a little heavier. It's menopause."

In an interview with the German magazine Bunte, she made a plea: "I think it's important that we exchange ideas and eliminate taboos on these topics." Taking this process calmly, Heidi has not hesitated to talk about the dreaded hot flashes: "Suddenly, I was hot, and before I always felt cold. When I see people in sweaters and jackets, I think I would die if I had to wear them," she told the magazine.

Throughout her life, Heidi has been reinventing herself to never lose her fame compass. Regardless of her television shows (Germany's Next Top Model, America's Got Talent, Project Runway), her advertising contracts, film appearances, event hosting, and even releasing a single, there is one event where she is always the queen of the show - Halloween party.

Her personalized costumes, on which a team of experts spends a dozen hours turning Klum's body into a blank canvas, have made her a global reference. All her activities have made her a very wealthy woman as, according to Celebrity Net Worth, her fortune amounts to $160 million.

Heidi has always enjoyed having fun, savoring life, although in recent times, menopause has altered some of her biorhythms. "I used to sleep deeply. Now I am constantly awake," she revealed to Bunte.

According to gynecologist Daniel Paz, who organized the recent Menopause Without Myths: Health, Nutrition, and Well-being meeting, in Spain, the average age of menopause onset is around 51 years, marking the end of the reproductive stage.

Furthermore, the specialist has pointed out that 75% of women experience some of the most challenging symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes, night sweats, and insomnia. Heidi Klum has not hesitated to reveal that she also experiences them.

Heidi and Tom form one of the most beloved and photographed couples in Hollywood. In a recent interview, she confessed, "We are even more in love than at the beginning. I chose the right one," and added, "My eyes no longer wander," referring to no longer looking at other men.

As every August, the couple celebrates their romantic "I do" in style.
