In mid-May, Heather Locklear (64) felt like the happiest woman on earth because her only daughter, Ava Elizabeth, got married to financier Tyler Farrar, her longtime boyfriend, in an outdoor ceremony at the Rosewood Miramar in Montecito (California).
The most interesting photo of this event was the arrival of the Melrose Place star with her new partner, actor Lorenzo Lamas (68), who rose to fame with the series Falcon Crest. Also, the bride's father and the actress's second husband, Richie Sambora (66), Bon Jovi's guitarist, attended with his latest girlfriend.
Like any child or teenager born in the spotlight, Ava wanted to try her luck in the fashion world, so she made her debut in 2010, at just 12 years old, at the White Trash Beautiful Show, part of Los Angeles Fashion Week. Her mother commented to the press at that time that she was "extremely proud of her, I am here to support her, but two minutes after this ends, I will take her out of here, remove her makeup and put on her pajamas."
However, her 160 centimeters in height were a disadvantage for runway modeling. This did not discourage the young woman who, inheritance of her mother's beauty, did not hesitate to continue in fashion as the face of swimwear brand 138 Water and as an ambassador for the swimwear brand Baes and Bikinis. She has also been the face of a water brand.
At another event, Richie told People magazine that his daughter "is beautiful, very sociable, fun, elegant... I am more than proud of her."
Like any teenager of her time, Ava then said she loved "Miley Cyrus. I absolutely love everything about her and I would love to be able to act with her someday. She is my role model, after my father." She also later confirmed that she was part of the Biebermania phenomenon: "I met him once at the Grammys and I was about to cry. I love him so much."
At the age of 12, Ava made her big screen debut in the movie This Is 40, starring Paul Rudd and Melissa McCarthy. She has also appeared in an episode of the series Good Luck Charlie and the film A Dark Foe (2020), alongside another nepobaby, Ireland Baldwin (30), daughter of Kim Basinger (72) and Alec Baldwin (68).
Far from being obsessed with fame, Ava did not neglect her studies, so she attended Viewpoint School in Calabasas, where she was one of the most successful cheerleaders and later, graduated in 2020 with a degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University with a specialization in women's and gender studies. Before the graduation ceremony, which was held at home due to the pandemic, her mother couldn't help but start showing off her daughter by posting photos with her cap and gown.
Three years later, the young woman obtained a master's degree in marital and family therapy from the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California. In addition to her marriage, the latest information available about Ava is that since 2025 she has been pursuing a doctorate at Pepperdine University in California.
