Two years after her death, the mansion owned by Shannen Doherty in Malibu has been sold for 7.65 million dollars, a substantial discount from the initial price of 9.45 million dollars. The star of Beverly Hills, 90210, who passed away at 53 from cancer, lived in the property since purchasing it in 2004 for 2.5 million.

According to her last wishes, the money obtained will be divided between her mother Rose and her brother Sean (she had no children), who still mourn the death of the beloved actress who fought against metastatic cancer until her last breath. This was revealed by Chris Cortazzo, a close friend of the actress, executor and in charge of the sale through the Compass real estate agency.

The recently sold house has a surface area of just over 430 square meters, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, located on about a hectare of land in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Featuring modern architecture, the house boasts a balanced combination of Californian modernism and rustic refinement. The facade is mostly stucco, except for the huge glass walls at the back of the house that open directly to the garden. Particularly, the master suite, which features a retractable glass wall.

A double glass door with a steel frame leads to a large room that seamlessly connects with the dining area, located between the kitchen and the living room. The living room has exposed wooden beam ceilings, light brown wooden floors, a beautiful fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that open directly to the garden.

The industrial-style kitchen stands out with a large central island with six stools for casual dining, custom-made cabinets, and built-in shelves. The dining room with weathered wood ceilings features a large wooden table seating ten guests. Two reclaimed wood barn doors slide on metal rails to access a bright office where Shannen recorded her podcast.

According to Cortazzo, the star of Charmed "transformed the house with her distinctive touch, turning it into one of the most beautiful and welcoming spaces to entertain guests. The open-concept kitchen flowed effortlessly into the dining and family rooms, framed by glass, all reflecting her love for connection. Shannen highly valued a close circle of loved ones, and this home became a sanctuary for her friends and family."

The property was virtually new due to renovations following damage from the Woolsey fire in 2018. Additionally, the seller made it clear that the devastating Pacific Palisades fires in early 2025 did not affect the property. In fact, fear of future buyers regarding these natural disasters was the main reason for last-minute hesitations during the signing.

The most beautiful part of the property is the extensive terraced gardens that provided the privacy the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress longed for, thanks to the huge surrounding hedges facing the street. The backyard features an outdoor dining area and a barbecue kitchen with a central circular fireplace exuding serenity.

In another garden area, there is a raised bed vegetable garden where the actress grew her vegetables and fruits, along with fruit trees. Adjacent are several rustic-style outdoor dining areas. Additionally, at one end, there is a small independent building that can be used as a studio, gym, or additional bedroom.

Of course, there is also a L-shaped pool surrounded by designer loungers and a large Buddha head.

Celebrity photographer Kurt Iswarienko was the actress's last husband. They were married from 2011 to 2014, but the divorce was not finalized until a day before the actress's death. Iswarienko spent a year and a half fighting to get a share of the sale, but ultimately, the actress's lawyers won the battle.
