The actor from Madrid has once again broken barriers by becoming the first Spanish artist to leave his handprints, footprints, and even nose print in the cement of the iconic Chinese Theater in Hollywood. This is an extremely exclusive recognition, as only about 200 celebrities have received this honor compared to the more than 2,700 stars on the Walk of Fame.

During his speech, Bardem admitted that he "never would have imagined" being part of this tradition and was emotional as he remembered his mother, Pilar Bardem. The actor emphasized the importance of teamwork, stating "the way we all work together in a coordinated and close manner towards a shared and unique vision" under the direction of figures like Michael Mann or Denis Villeneuve.

Additionally, he used the platform to advocate for the city's reception towards immigration policies: "no matter how many Trumps are in power or how many ICE agents are on the streets, people will always continue to come and believe in the opportunities that this city represents."
