When you are one of the big Hollywood stars and one of the most influential Latina figures for years, there is a risk of overshadowing those around you. However, this is not exactly the case with Jennifer Lopez - about to turn 57 years old - the middle of three sisters, born to David Lopez, a security guard, and Guadalupe Rodríguez, a preschool teacher.

Leslie (58), the eldest, works as a music educator and opera singer and has always tried to stay out of the media spotlight. The youngest, Lynda (55), is a journalist and communicator who has worked in radio and television, winning an Emmy in 2001 in the category of Best Individual Morning News Program for her work as co-host on the WB 11 Morning News in New York. She also published the book ROC: Profile of a New Latina.

Despite having certain social projection due to her lifestyle, there are few occasions when she appears at social events with JLo. A few days ago, both caught the attention of photographers while attending various shows at Paris Fashion Week.

Lynda prefers to stay in the shadow of the singer and actress and, from her position, protect and help her in everything she needs.

Little is known about the younger sister of the On the Floor singer who, although never married, has a daughter named Lucie Wren, who will reach the age of majority next August, from a relationship she had from 2006 to 2012 with an ex-boyfriend named Adam Goldfried, a radio host, sports analyst, and nationally syndicated executive producer.

Previously, Lynda dated Chris Booker from 2002 to 2005, who also worked in radio, television, had his own show, and even had a podcast with Perez Hilton, one of the most influential gossip journalists in the United States.

Both JLo and Lynda have supported each other in raising their children and co-founded the Lopez Family Foundation. In several interviews, they have talked about the values of independence and self-sufficiency that their mother Guadalupe instilled in them as they were starting out in life.

In an interview with Hispanic Executive Magazine in 2021, she said: "Our parents raised us to believe that we could be whatever we wanted. Back then, they didn't envision us as journalists or rock stars, but they raised us to believe that we could achieve anything we chose, even becoming President of the United States. That was the incredible gift they gave us."

Additionally, in an interview with E!, she confessed that she and Jennifer used to share a single bed in the Bronx where they spent nights talking about their future, and that years later those moments have become one of their most cherished memories from childhood.
