Actress and writer Lena Dunham (40) has become a mother for the first time through surrogacy.
The exclusive was revealed by Vogue magazine, with an interview with the also screenwriter and director, known for the series 'Girls'.
Vogue's Instagram account has posted an image showing the happy mom with the baby in her arms, alongside her partner, musician Luis Felber.
"She was getting ready inside the strong and healthy body of our surrogate, and as the baby clothes piled up, so did the feeling that everything was becoming real," Dunham shares on social media, as she took charge of what she could control, like preparing the baby's wardrobe and new room.

The girl was born 13 days after the expected date, as Dunham recounts. So far, the couple has not made the baby's name public.
