A woman from Minnesota has gone viral on the internet due to the photo taken by the police after being arrested for shoplifting, in which she bears a striking resemblance to Jennifer Lopez.
Cyrena Anne Quast, 35, stole two power tool batteries valued at $580 last August. An employee recognized her after a previous alert issued by another store. Quast was arrested for a misdemeanor theft, but her notoriety is not due to the crime itself.
Her police mugshot started circulating on social media, where the physical similarity to the artist caused immediate commotion. Comments quickly poured in: "At times I thought it was JLo," joked one user, while others quipped that the singer "had spent too much time on the street."
Several internet users even speculated that she was her long-lost twin sister and directly called for the singer's intervention: "Jennifer, claim your sister right now and get a DNA test; do it for us, she's your sister."
As reported by the Daily Mail, Quast was released on the same day of her arrest, despite having a record of theft, drugs, driving under the influence, and traffic violations.
