Shakira makes history. By the end of 2025, the artist from Barranquilla had already been crowned as the artist with the highest-grossing international Latin tour in history by billing 367.4 million euros with her tour Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. With 86 concerts and 3.3 million tickets sold up to that point, she managed to break the record of Luis Miguel whose 2023-2024 tour raised 356.8 million in 188 shows, according to figures published by Billboard Boxscore.
But if at the beginning of 2026 Shakira broke the record, Bad Bunny surpassed her in the middle of the year with his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour, which reached 407.4 million in 55 shows and with 3.1 million tickets sold. However, far from falling behind, the loba once again surpassed the Puerto Rican by achieving 417.6 million euros, 2.5% more, by July 14 of this year, in about 108 shows and with the European residency of 12 dates in Madrid yet to be celebrated.
In addition, in the global Top Tour 2025 list by Billboard, which includes all global artists without distinction, she ranked fifth, ahead of artists like Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, or Bruno Mars. Only surpassed by Coldplay, who ranked first, Beyoncé, or The Weeknd. In the end-of-year Top Ticket Sales list by the same magazine, which ranks tours by total attendance, she ranked second.
Las Vegas (United States) was the city where the Colombian artist raised the most money in a single show during 2025, with 5.7 million euros in front of 47,000 people. However, it was in Mexico City where she raised up to 40.6 million euros in seven different concerts, with 396,000 attendees.
Over three decades of international tour billing
Three decades ago, the Latin artist started her collection of international tours with Pies Descalzos in 1995. This was followed by Anfibio in 2000, and although there are no estimates of what those tours billed due to lack of data archives at the time, everything indicates that the Colombian is now living her golden age, with the seventh tour of her career, LMYNL, becoming the most successful in terms of revenue.
Chronologically following would be Mangosta (2002-03), which would have its earnings floor at around 17.4 million euros today, according to the calculations collected in some paper issues of the magazine Billboard from those years, which published the revenue of each concert.
In 2006, she started her Fijación Oral tour, where the iconic song Hips Don't Lie was born, her most played track, according to Spotify. The tour lasted two years and, according to Pollstar, in their annual list of the top 100 tours with the highest revenue in 2006, she raised 33.6 million, to which the 9.8 million from the same 2007 list would be added, resulting in a total of 43.4 million euros in revenue. However, in 2009, her manager informed Billboard that the final revenue had been over 87.1 million.
A few years later, in 2010, Shakira launched her biennial tour Sale el Sol, which raised 46.3 million in 2011 according to Pollstar records, to which another 14.7 million billed in North America in 2010 would be added, according to the same source. This added up to 61 million, to which the revenue from the 21 shows she gave in Europe that same year would have to be added, for which there is no economic record.
Finally, the prelude to LMYNL was El Dorado Tour in 2018, a tour from which hits like Chantaje, with Maluma, or La Bicicleta, with Carlos Vives, were born. During her 52 concerts, the artist from Barranquilla raised 66.5 million euros and sold a total of 909,288 tickets, according to Touring Data records. Eight years later, those figures would be far from what she is achieving today, marking a new peak in the Colombian's career and demonstrating in numbers the magnitude of an artist who, three decades later, continues to grow prodigiously.
