Brazilian influencer Evelyn Lima Dantas, 21, was shot dead in front of her father after two armed men broke into her home in the early hours and forcibly took her to the street.
The young woman had been released from prison just a week before, after being arrested for her alleged involvement in the murder of a retired Military Police sergeant.
The crime took place on September 16 in the São Francisco neighborhood, in the municipality of Mãe do Rio, in the Brazilian state of Pará, in the northeast of Brazil. According to the Brazilian press, two men entered the house and forced Evelyn's father to remain on the floor while they took the young woman outside.
Once on the street, the men shot her several times and fled in a vehicle. Neighbors alerted the Military Police after hearing the shots.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they found Evelyn's body on the pavement, covered with a sheet. Before leaving, the attackers left the initials "TCP" painted, corresponding to the Terceiro Comando Puro, a criminal organization originating from Rio de Janeiro. The police are investigating any possible connection between this organization and the murder.
Evelyn's death occurred just days after her release from prison. The young woman had been arrested for her alleged involvement in the investigation of the murder of Antonio Anildo Alves da Silva, a 56-year-old retired Military Police sergeant, which occurred on July 29. According to the police investigation, Evelyn would have been involved in planning the murder.
Evelyn was a content creator with a significant presence on social media, where she had over 24,000 followers. She shared photos and videos of her travels, daily life, style, and beauty treatments. Her profiles became inactive after her arrest.
