Sean Diddy Combs (56) has left prison, but not because he has been released. The rapper, sentenced to four years and 2 months in prison for human trafficking, remains outside the federal prison in New Jersey where he has been incarcerated since 2025 since yesterday, Monday, October 12. The reason for this departure is a health incident for which he is being treated.

According to the American media TMZ, the music producer was transferred to a nearby medical center by ambulance to be treated for a head injury that, at first, does not seem to be serious. It happened in the early hours of the morning, and according to this information, the rapper is out of danger. However, the cause of this injury is still unknown.

If there are no further delays, the artist also known as Puff Diddy will be released from prison in March 2028. Although more than 100 women and men accused him of alleged harassment and sexual assault, it was ultimately only proven that he committed crimes of "transporting individuals for prostitution," in other words, human trafficking.

Prison has not stopped his public controversies. A few weeks ago, NBC News reported that the rapper was placed in isolation. They also reported that he was living a luxurious life behind bars, with access to a mobile phone, drugs, and alcohol. Things that are, of course, prohibited for inmates. They also revealed that the rapper received massages from other inmates and that some even performed tasks for him inside the prison or cooked for him. "This is not something normal to see in prison. This is something for the wealthy. It seems crazy, but of course, it's Diddy," said an anonymous source to the media.

On July 7, Diddy got into a fight with another inmate, leading to another scandal. But in the face of this wave of news from inside the penitentiary, the rapper's defense attorney came to his defense. "The constant scrutiny of every detail of Sean Combs' life in prison has reached the point where the media presents daily life in prison as news. The only real scoop is that Sean continues to serve his sentence in accordance with the rules and patiently awaits the court's decision on his appeal," he communicated.
