American actress Hilary Swank, winner of two Oscars, has announced that she is expecting her third child with her husband, businessman Philip Schneider, three years after the birth of their twins, Aya and Ohm. The baby is due in December, as the actress hinted in a social media post.
Swank, 52 years old, shared a video on Instagram on Wednesday showing herself with her husband and their two three-year-old children dancing in the dark with glowing figures attached to their clothes. At the end of the video, the actress reveals her pregnant belly, where the silhouette of a baby is also drawn with lights.
"Many of you have asked what my next project will be. This one is due in December," Swank wrote alongside the video, alluding to the expected birth of her third child.
The star of 'Million Dollar Baby', the film for which she won her second Best Actress Oscar in 2005, became a mother for the first time in April 2023, at the age of 48. She announced the birth of the twins with a photograph holding the two newborns and a message expressing her happiness at their arrival.
Swank and Schneider married in August 2018. The actress announced her first pregnancy in October 2022, during an interview on the American show 'Good Morning America', where she revealed she was expecting twins.
In various interviews, the actress has openly discussed her experience as a mother at an older age. Swank has mentioned that the stage in her life when her children arrived has allowed her to dedicate more time and attention to them, after years focused on her professional career.
With this new pregnancy, the actress will expand her family to five members, although she has not yet revealed the baby's gender.
