After three years of relationship, Jason Segel (46) married last Saturday, October 17, with Kayla Radomski (35) at the Huntington Library Botanical Gardens in Pasadena (California), the same place where the protagonist of How I Met Your Mother (2005-2014) proposed to her.

The first rumors of the actor and the dancer, who became known for her participation in the fifth edition of reality show So You Think You Can Dance in 2009, being in a relationship arose at a Halloween party in Hollywood in 2023. Three months later, they made their first official appearance on the red carpet of the Golden Globes where Segel was nominated for the series Unfiltered Therapy.

The bride was the one who, through her Instagram stories, confirmed that they got married with a simple phrase: "A true dream." Additionally, other attendees at the wedding shared images of the ceremony, especially Kayla's brother, who wrote the caption: "My sister found her happily ever after."

For Segel, this is his first marriage. His two most well-known relationships were with the actresses Linda Cardellini, whom he met in 1999 during the filming of the series Freaks and Geeks and dated for six years, and Michelle Williams, whose relationship lasted from 2012 to 2013. Although his longest relationship was with photographer Alexis Mixter from 2013 to 2021.

In addition to being a dancer, Kayla Radomski has also made a name for herself as an actress and producer. Raised by her mother and grandparents, she started dancing at 2 years old and began competing officially at 7. She trained in all styles of dance to be as versatile as possible and attended a performing arts school, gaining even more experience and training.

Her dance skills allowed her to venture into the field of choreography, where she became the youngest dancer to appear in a music video for Britney Spears' tour at just 13 years old. At 18, she was chosen as Miss Pre-Teen Colorado.

In an interview with Dance Mogul, the dancer recounted the toughest moments of her career: "I overcame Osgood-Schlatter disease at 10 years old and the rupture of two discs in the lumbar area at 15, which caused unbearable pain for a long time. I have also broken all the ligaments in one of my ankles several times. But it's all part of being an athlete. I never let those injuries stop me."

Gradually, she has been collaborating with some of the most important artists in music such as Taylor Swift, Cher, and Jennifer Lopez, fulfilled her dream of dancing in the 60th anniversary special of Disney -she spent endless hours watching animated movies during her childhood- and has performed at the Grammys and the Oscars ceremonies.

As an actress, Kayla has appeared in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Greatest Showman, and alongside her now-husband in the series Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (2022-2023) and in the film Above Your Dead Body (2026).

Since the end of How I Met Your Mother, Jason Segel has established himself as one of the most important comedic actors of his generation. Currently, he has been starring in the web comedy-drama series Unfiltered Therapy for the past three years.

Being the son of a Jewish father and a Christian mother, the actor was raised in Judaism. However, as he stated in one of his interviews, he attended a Christian school during the day and a Hebrew school at night, so he felt like "at the Christian school you were the Jewish kid, and at the Hebrew school you were the Christian kid," which shaped his perspective as an eternal 'outsider.'

At 10 years old, due to his extreme shyness and feeling like a misfit, his parents enrolled him in acting classes, a space where he was surrounded by like-minded children for the first time. He felt so comfortable that alongside his studies, he continued performing in plays and academically training until he made his debut in film with Can't Hardly Wait (1998) and on television with Freaks and Geeks (1999-2000). Since the producers of How I Met Your Mother were admirers of that series, they had no hesitation in hiring him.
