Anouk Deschamps, a 21-year-old French influencer, has died from a rare form of cancer, a CIC-DUX4 sarcoma. The young woman passed away during the night between Thursday and Friday, "surrounded by her family and friends until the very end. She left peacefully, without suffering and in complete serenity," her relatives confirmed on her Instagram account.

Known on social media as lesbeauxdetours, she had spent more than a year facing an extremely rare and aggressive cancer with remarkable openness and optimism. According to her last post, she was due to undergo more than 300 hours of chemotherapy.

"My story is a long one, but if I had to summarise it, I would begin by saying that my name is Anouk, I am 21 years old, in my fourth year of medical school, and in September 2025 my life was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with cancer," Anouk introduced herself on social media. "Today, after a journey filled with obstacles, I am still undergoing treatment and, unfortunately, I am still a long way from being cured. But I keep fighting and always try to maintain a positive attitude," wrote the influencer, who created the account to "show that life does not end when you are diagnosed with cancer".

"A year ago, she was diagnosed with an aggressive, serious and rare cancer, yet she remained positive, determined to find the treatment that would heal her. She endured chemotherapy, hardship and side effects while always maintaining a smile and a zest for life," her family said in a statement published on her Instagram profile.

Her relatives describe her as "full of life, ambitious, caring, warm-hearted and talented. Anouk deeply loved looking after others. She was always there for those close to her and had a gift for finding the right words, which is why she dreamed of becoming a doctor."

Despite the repeated setbacks and the failure of successive treatments, Anouk never wanted cancer to take control of her life, and she maintained that attitude until her final moments.

"That is the message she wanted to convey through her posts, and the one we should remember: always keep fighting, never give up."
