Dressed completely in black, with a leather-style outfit and turtleneck, actress Sharon Stone appeared yesterday in Hollywood with her son to see the premiere of the movie Wild Horse Nine. The actress, a style icon, recently graced the cover for the 40th anniversary of Elle magazine. She did so dressed in red, in a Gucci outfit that showcased her legs, mimicking the iconic pose from Basic Instinct.
The secret to maintaining her physique at 68 is none other than sports and healthy eating. But far from marathon gym sessions, the actress revealed in an interview with Vogue her unique workout routine: five days a week of exercise, primarily aquagym. "I work out for an hour and a half in my pool. Aquagym routines underwater, with two and a half kilo weights on each ankle and then on each arm," the actress shared, adding some swimming to these exercises.
The "old school" gym exercises, as she calls them, which include push-ups and sit-ups, are reserved for times when she is filming away from home.
Regarding her eating habits, the actress claims to avoid strict diets and base her diet on simplicity, prioritizing the consumption of fruits and vegetables. "I eat to be healthy," she stated, recalling her French roots that have made her particularly appreciate French cuisine.
In any case, beyond the image society has of her, Sharon Stone asserted that she is not as "fantastically perfect" as people believe. "I have dark circles like everyone else. I've just had to be very disciplined all these years, and I still am; it's like an obsessive-compulsive disorder," she admitted in the same interview.
A few weeks ago, the actress recalled in a well-known podcast in the U.S. one of the most challenging episodes of her life, when she suffered a stroke in 2001, when her ex-husband authorized brain surgery without her consent.
Currently, in addition to her acting career, Stone dedicates part of her life to painting and writing (she is currently working on her second book). "I don't prefer making movies to painting; what I prefer is to work, whether on a set or in my studio with my brushes, but to work!" she told Vogue.
