This Tuesday, Page Six revealed that Paris Jackson (28) has filed a petition in court to request the preliminary distribution of $600 million from her father's estate, which -according to the singer himself- was supposed to start being distributed in significant amounts when his children turned 21.
However, according to the singer, it has not been distributed, and for that reason, she has decided to intercede for her siblingsPrince, 29, and Bigi, 24. Nevertheless, so far, none of the three have made any public statements and it is not expected that they will. Heirs tend to be very tight-lipped about these matters, especially the youngest, who lives a life away from the spotlight.
Bigi -born in February 2002- is actually named Prince Michael Jackson II, but most fans of the King of Pop call him Blanket, which means "blanket" in English. According to the late singer, "blanket" was a term of endearment he used with his family and staff, as he believed a blanket symbolized a way to show protection.
However, the nickname is also linked to a controversial episode. When the little was nine months old, Jackson decided to show him to his fans from a balcony of the Adlon hotel in Berlin, and while lifting him with a blanket over the railing, he almost fell.
The little one -who was born via surrogate- became world famous and, according to various biographies, has never been too pleased to be reminded of that moment. In fact, in 2015, he reportedly decided to completely abandon his nickname due to some bullying situations.
However, there are no interviews of him discussing that topic. In fact, very little is known about his childhood and adolescence, except that he was initially homeschooled with his grandmother Katherine and his cousin T.J. Jackson. But in 2014, he decided to enroll in The Buckley School, an exclusive private school in Sherman Oaks, California, where he reportedly faced some issues with his peers.
Still, Bigi has managed to stand out as a good student, as well as immerse himself in hobbies like martial arts, sports, and video games. And what about his personality? The American press says he has always been shy and reserved. For example, in 2017, a source revealed to People that Bigi was the Jackson child who had "the most difficulties" coping with his death.
However, according to Paris, he has become someone with a lot of character. "This little guy is one of the strongest, smartest, and most determined people I know. Watching you grow and slowly become a man scares me a lot. But honestly, I can't express in words how proud I am of you. I love you so much," the artist said in 2017 when her brother turned 15.
And what else do we know about him? That in 2019 he created a YouTube channel to talk about film and, in it, his brother Prince -the eldest of Jackson's descendants- stated that Bigi had an extraordinary cinematic memory, as well as being able to remember directors, release dates, and production team members.
But his passion for the seventh art didn't stop there. Because in 2024, Bigi made his debut as a director and screenwriter with Rochelles. A short film about two friends competing for a job at a prestigious restaurant, and of course, the production became a huge success. He even received the Best Drama award at the Santa Monica International Film Festival.
Later, in 2025, the young man continued to explore his artistic side with Joni, a 27-minute short film that also received excellent reviews. However, Bigi has recently made headlines for radically different matters. Among them, the purchase of a $2.6 million mansion in Calabasas and his legal dispute with his grandmother Katherine.
According to numerous reports, both opposed a deal that involved the sale of part of Michael's music catalog to Sony for about $600 million. However, when a judge approved the transaction, Bigi decided not to appeal the ruling, while his grandmother opted to file an appeal. As a result, months later, the elderly woman requested that her attorney fees be covered with money from the late icon's estate, and her grandson firmly refused.
And what have been his latest public appearances? In January 2026, some media outlets circulated a photo of him having breakfast with a girl at a café in Los Angeles, and according to some sources, she would be his girlfriend. On the other hand, on April 10, Bigi reappeared with his brother Prince in Berlin during the premiere of Michael, the biographical film about their father, starring his cousin Jaafar Jackson, which has been heavily criticized by Paris.
