Travis Kelce has declared Taylor Swift will "shake up the world" with her new album.

The Cruel Summer singer announced at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 4) that she will drop her long-awaited 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, in April 19, and her NFL star boyfriend has teased the record is "unbelievable".

Speaking to reporters in Las Vegas for a Super Bowl media event, he said: "I have heard some of it, yes. And it is unbelievable. I can't wait for her to shake up the world when it finally drops."

But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end refused to share any details about the songs.

He said: "I can't give you anything. I'll leave that up to her."

The 34-year-old sportsman has vowed to work just as hard as his "unbelievable" girlfriend when he plays in the NFL showpiece game this coming weekend.

He said: "She's unbelievable. She's re-writing the history books herself. I told her I'll have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with hardware, too."

Travis also revealed his current favourite song from 34-year-old Taylor's catalogue.

He said: "Right now, I'd probably say Anti-Hero just 'cause I hear it every single day."

The Blank Space hitmaker announced the release of her album when she picked up the Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights at the Grammy Awards.

She said in her acceptance speech: "I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way. But I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans.

"So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out on April 19."
