The Atlético de Madrid stadium confirms itself as the trendy venue for concerts: it has closed 14 performances for the summer of 2025 and is already negotiating for 2026, when Oasis' European tour is expected.
In the summer of 2025, there will not be a single day of rest at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid. The Atlético de Madrid stadium will host a full schedule of concerts between May 25, the day the League ends, and the end of July when the field needs to be replanted. For those two months, 14 concerts are already announced, in a tight summer schedule with no available slots.
Over nine weeks, the Riyadh Air Metropolitano will be at 100% capacity. The success of the venue is so significant that negotiations for several concerts for the summer of 2026 are already advanced at Atleti, starting from the 15th, when the historic residency of Bad Bunny in Madrid will end: the Puerto Rican artist has sold half a million tickets for his tremendous series of concerts at the Metropolitano on May 30 and 31, and June 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, and 15, 2026.
It is in the summer of 2026 when rumors place the hypothetical European stadium tour of Oasis. The Gallagher brothers have announced concerts in the UK, the US, Latin America, and Asia between July and November 2025, but have clarified that this is only part of their world tour, which is expected to continue in 2026.

The concerts announced at the Madrid venue for this summer are:
Ed Sheeran: May 30 (sold out) and 31.
Dellafuente: June 20 (sold out) and 21.
AC/DC: July 12 (sold out) and 16.
Last summer, there were eight concerts at the Madrid stadium: the three nights of Bruce Springsteen, as well as Estopa, Metallica, The Weekend, Morat, and Feid.
The boom of live music in Madrid, with a continuous increase in ticket sales for a decade, and the Bernabéu crisis as a concert venue have benefited the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, which has become the most desired space in Spain for promoters of major national and international tours.
The trendy spot in Spain during the summer of 2024 was the Bernabéu, with historic sell-outs like Taylor Swift's two nights and, especially, Karol G's four nights. However, the unexpected cancellation by Real Madrid of the concerts of Aitana, Dellafuente, Lola Índigo, and the k-pop festival Music Bank, and the ¤800,000 in municipal fines for noise violations that promoters who rented the stadium on Paseo de la Castellana this year have faced, have left the field open to the Metropolitano. Quoting the not-so-subtle words of Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, the situation will continue in the future until "the City Council and the Community of Madrid decide if they want the Bernabéu to continue being one of the main global venues for major international tours."
It should be noted that a stadium concert occupies the space for almost a week, including stage setup and dismantling. Therefore, even though there is a potential concert schedule of over two months, the actual available dates can only increase if several consecutive performances are linked, as will happen next summer at the Metropolitano with the tours of Ed Sheeran, Dellafuente, AC/DC, Stray Kids, and Aitana.
In addition to live music, the Madrid stadium has intensified its activities with symposiums, congresses, and all kinds of events, the most striking of which is Madrid On Ice, a giant 4,700 m2 ice rink that will be set up around the field during Christmas with a capacity for 1,500 simultaneous skaters.
