The eldest of five siblings, Todd Talbot, who turns 52 this Thursday, knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in show business. Born in Vancouver, at 18 he starred for two seasons alongside Ryan Reynolds in the series Fifteen (known as Hillside on Canadian television). He later moved to England to study acting, music, and dance.

His main professional passion is theater, where he sometimes interacts with people, and this calling has allowed him to travel the world. After returning to both the small and big screen, he took on different roles until he was offered in 2013 to be the co-host alongside Jillian Harris (45) of the successful show Love It or List It Vancouver (known as Love It or List It in the US), where families from the city and its metropolitan area face the dilemma of whether to love their home and therefore stay in it after renovating it or put it up for sale.

Parallel to acting and hosting, real estate is one of his main interests. He has a deep understanding of markets, home buying and selling, real estate investment, and marketing. In fact, he has a real estate advertising company that he runs with a partner.

He met his wife Rebecca in 2002 when they both starred in a new version of the musical West Side Story at the Arts Club Theatre in Vancouver. She is also an actress and has appeared in well-known films such as The X-Files (1993), The Collector (2004), and The Game of Love (2007). After five years of dating, they got married in 2007 and have two children, Ashlyn (16) and Kesler (8).

Rebecca has numerous acting credits, including a role in The X-Files in the '90s, The Collector, Millennium, and Married Life. This Canadian beauty had her sights set on being an actress from a young age. In her personal blog, she wrote, "I began my artistic career as the fourth of five children competing for attention by singing, dancing, pouting, or just generally making a fool of myself, and I've been doing it ever since."

The couple loves sharing their daily life on Instagram, often posting adorable pictures of each other. And, of course, they also involve their children. They do everything together, from cheering on their son at his hockey games to spending the day at the lake with their family. "Life is easier together," Rebecca wrote in a sweet selfie several years ago. After long days of TV filming, for Todd, spending time with his family is the best way to end a busy day.
